What makes you think that it is working?

Oh man, I had like 400-something Deskjet at some point, it would definitely make a better cat-bed than it does a pritner.

yeah but its still cheaper to buy the printer and get the cat than it is to buy replacement catridges

I didn't know HP had a fuzzy 3d printer all the way back then!

The realism is phenomenal.

I do wonder what Canon would spit out. Lion-sized paper?

A good friend of mine still has a 720C that he uses all the time. I still have an 895cse that I use on occasion. He has an 832C, too. Between the two of us, we've never had any trouble with either the 700 or 800 series deskjets.

Yep, HP 45 Black and HP 23 Color cartridges are still very easy to find. A complete set will run you ~$20. I've always liked the build quality of those older deskjets, especially compared to a lot of newer printers sold today.

that and way more ink per $ with hp 45.

I think my last Laserjet was a 930 that used the 45, until it died, then i just started printing at work. costs me even less.....

p.s i print about 4 sheets of paper per year

I had an 812c that decided it was acceptable to dump all of it's ink on my desk. Replaced the cartridges and it ate the drive belt. It made it's way to the Staples store's recycling bin...
